ATTEND IN SAN DIEGO OR BRING SHRM25 TO YOUR LIVING ROOM

Student Experience FAQs

How much does it cost to attend?
Check the registration rates page for the latest student and SHRM Chapter Advisor fees. In-person and virtual registration options are available. All students must be SHRM student members or purchase membership before registering.
What does the student fee include?

In addition to the benefits detailed above, in-person registration fees include general sessions, admission to the SHRM Expo, educational concurrent sessions, one admission to the Tuesday Night Entertainment per attendee, and online access to conference presentations. Students may take advantage of preconference and guest programs; additional fees apply.

If attending virtually, we recommend organizing viewing events on campus for registered students and classmates to make the most of the conference experience together. All students will have additional time to re-watch their favorite sessions with on-demand access for 30 days post-conference.

How do I register a group of students?
  1. Complete the group registration form.
  2. A SHRM representative will contact you for invoicing. Reminder—all students must be SHRM student members to attend. A student group membership can be purchased here.
Are students eligible for Professional Development Credits (PDCs) by attending?

Yes! All SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP credential holders are eligible to receive 20+ PDCs towards recertification for attending SHRM25.

When you attend SHRM25, your credits even auto-populate to your certification account*, so you can be more focused on learning and enjoying the conference.

*If your SHRM certification e-mail address matches your member e-mail address, you’re all set. If they’re different – or if you’re not sure – simply log in to shrm.org/my/account to update your information.

Can I transfer a student registration?

Yes! You may request a replacement by providing registration details for the new registrant as well as identifying who they are replacing. Submit transfer requests via the Cancellation Form.
