Registration for HR-X Live! isn't simply access to four days of programming. It's an investment in a structured credentialing experience built to produce something tangible: demonstrated expertise, executable tools and a credential you carry forward.
Your Registration Includes:
A pre-event experience that helps place you in the right dimension and level for your expertise.
A curated learning experience built around one of the four HR-X dimensions.

A capstone experience where you put your learning to work and demonstrate applied capability.
A collection of the executable tools and strategies you gather throughout your four days in Chicago.
Earned through demonstrated application within your selected HR-X dimension and level.

A cohort of professionals working at your level and focused on similar challenges.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via our Conference Transfers and Cancellation Form.
Confirmed registrants may cancel and receive a full refund minus a $250 cancellation fee for general attendees through February 28, 2027. Cancellations received from March 1, 2027 through May 28, 2027 are nonrefundable but can be transferred to another SHRM conference or seminar. Cancellations on or after May 29, 2027 are nonrefundable and transfers are not permitted.
Transfer credits are offered as a one-time courtesy and are eligible for use exclusively at another SHRM conference or seminar. The selection of a replacement conference or seminar must be made within 6 months of the date the transfer credit is issued. The selected conference or seminar must occur within 12 months of the transfer credit issuance. The selected conference or seminar is final; no further transfer credits will be permitted.
If an attendee chooses to transfer their registration, they are responsible for paying any price difference (if applicable) to be collected at the time of the transfer. If the selected replacement is less expensive than the original event, the difference will be refunded to the original payment method, not to exceed 50% of the original purchase price.
Attendees who do not attend the event and/or do not contact SHRM via written correspondence by the dates above will be responsible for the full attendee registration fee. If the conference or seminar is cancelled, SHRM is not responsible for any penalty incurred by purchasing a nonrefundable airline ticket or related costs.

Cancellations of Conference Add-On Activities
An additional cancellation fee of $75 will be charged for each conference add-on, including preconference workshops, educational programs, interpretation services, and the guest program. No refunds will be given for SHRM On Demand.
For SHRM Certification Preparation seminar cancellations, the SHRM Learning System printed materials must be returned unopened or be charged the purchase price for the SHRM Learning System in addition to the $250 cancellation fee.
