HR-X Live! puts you in the heart of Chicago at McCormick Place — giving you easy access to everything the city has to offer beyond the conference. Explore Chicago's dining, nightlife and iconic neighborhoods, with a range of convenient hotel options available through the SHRM housing block.
Shuttle buses will be available to transport you from select HR-X Live! hotels to the McCormick Place Convention Center.
Uber and Lyft are very prominent and accessible in Chicago. Make sure you download the apps if you don't have them already to request a ride.
If you are local or plan to drive, parking is available at the McCormick Place Convention Center.
The closest airports are the Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW), which is approximately 8.7 miles or roughly 20 minutes from the conference center and Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD), which is approximately 19.4 miles or roughly 45 minutes from the convention center.
