Glen Kraemer, a founding and managing partner of the employment and higher education law firm of Hirschfeld Kraemer LLP, focuses exclusively on the representation of employers, including colleges and universities, concerning discrimination and harassment claims, and personnel law compliance issues involving disability accommodations, wage/hour concerns, protected leaves, and corrective counseling, discipline and termination practices. He is nationally recognized for his passionate delivery of “best practices” management training programs, and for 19 consecutive years served as the keynote speaker for the Professionals in Human Resources Association Annual Legal Update Conference. Glen has devoted significant time and energy to three particular areas of interest: (1) understanding and responding to sexual harassment, discrimination and workplace bullying in compliance with state law requirements, (2) workplace violence prevention, identification and response, and (3) neutral investigations for both public and private sector employers concerning internal discrimination, harassment and wrongful discipline complaints. One of the few attorney members of the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals, he currently serves as national legal counsel to several Fortune 500 threat management teams and leads numerous violence prevention units for colleges and other regional employers. In 2011, Glen was chosen as a “Top Labor and Employment Lawyer” by the Los Angeles and San Francisco Daily Journals, and from 2005 – 2018 has been voted a labor and employment “Super Lawyer” by fellow members of the California State Bar. In 2017, Glen was ranked by Chambers USA as Recognized Practitioner in Labor & Employment Law – California. In addition, Hirschfeld Kraemer LLP was listed by the Daily Journal as the 2015 California “Top Boutique” in Labor and Employment Law.
